Israeli Newspaper Calls Michael Lucas a Patriot
A four-page interview with the American gay entertainment mogul appears in the March 5 issue of Maariv.

NEW YORK - "Patriot": That's the title of a four-page article about
Lucas Entertainment
President and Chief Executive Officer
Michael Lucas in the current issue of
Maariv, a
leading mainstream newspaper in Israel.
Complete with photos, the piece encompasses an in-depth interview conducted
with Lucas while he visited the country last week.
"I was thrilled to be
interviewed by Maariv," Lucas said.
"I've been giving more and more political interviews as of late, which makes me
very happy and proud. As a porn star you have to work twice as hard in order to
be taken seriously by mainstream press, so I take this article with great
pride."
The article is published in
Hebrew, but an English translation begins, "Michael Lucas, king of New York's gay porn movies, is a proud Zionist, slightly
right-wing, denounces the gay parade in Jerusalem,
is appalled by Gal Ochovsky and detests Islam. He is now visiting the homeland
to realize a dream: to produce a local gay porn film that will turn Israel
into the international capital of the gays.... He believes a well invested porn
film aimed at the global gay community is exactly what this country needs."
