Shane’s World Studios didn’t wait for a college newspaper to leak details of their foray into the halls of education to start lining up press for their new reality porn series College Invasion.
Covering the taping of the first College Invasion was Rolling Stone. "They sent a writer and photographer out for the weekend to follow us around. We are pretty excited that they had interest in the kinds of things we are doing. I think it says a lot for us," said Calli Cox, publicist for Shane’s World Studios, who also performs in the series.
"This series is going to be great for us," added Cox. "People are going to love it because it’s fucking real!"
College Invasion is a spin off of the Shane’s World series that gained national notoriety once word of Shane’s World #29, taped at ASU was leaked. National media caught on to the story, leading to a segment on The O’Reilly Factor.
Then the media found out about Shane’s World #32, taped at Indiana University. This led to another segment on The O’Reilly Factor, coverage by CNN news, not to mention stories in just about every major newspaper in America. In fact, Shane’s World #32, is still generating publicity for the adult studio - the title is part of a story that Time magazine published about Indiana University.
The story, in the May 12 issue of Time Magazine is about Indiana University and it’s ranking of #1 party school in the nation. Included in the story is the filming of Shane’s World #32: Campus Invasion. "The company has received such great publicity this year. To be covered in Time Magazine is incredible. The cover story of the issue is about the new Matrix movie, and our story is on page 8. It’s sure to get read," stated Calli Cox, publicist for the company.
"A writer from Time Magazine called on Friday to verify some facts with owner Jennie Grant. They told us the story would be in today’s issue," added Cox.
College Invasion #1, features Calli Cox, Felix Vicious, Taylor Rain, Brittney Skye, Tanya James, Cindy Crawford, Mariah Cherry, Karina, Slim Shady, Nacho Vidal, Tony Pounds, hundreds of college students, and special guest Ron Jeremy.
"We wanted the #1 porn star in the world," stated Cox. "When we pulled up with Ron, it was like the parting of the Red Seas. I’ve never seen college students go so crazy over someone before!"
New Sensations, which distributes Shane’s World Studios, shipped College Invasion yesterday with the street date being Tuesday, May13.
