Joining the ranks of Jill Kelly and Serenity, Shay Sights and Renee LaRue have joined forces to create the newest female owned adult company - Dragonfly Productions. rnrn

Both women were under non-exclusive contracts with Wildlife Productions that will terminate on March 1. According to Sights and LaRue, Wildlife is leaning towards producing more hardcore gonzo videos, whereas the women would prefer to do features. rnrn
"We were out to dinner one night and it hit us, why don't we do something together. We both have the same ideas and we want to go in a positive direction. We want to get a message out with the stuff that we do that you can be sexual and normal," LaRue told AVN.com. rnrn
The women haven't set any specific goals as of yet in terms of a production output numbers, though they have already written the first feature, Butterfly they are planning to co-direct, a task they anticipate beginning in March. rnrn
"It's not so much about making banging out movies and making money for us - it's more about the message," Sights said. rnrn
Sights and LaRue both picked up production skills and experience while at Wildlife. Sights wrote the Healing Touch, the last feature she made for Wildlife, as well as a number of screenplays for Nick Manning Productions and Nick Manning Films. LaRue conceptualized Passion with director Bobby Rinaldi, and was intricately involved in the costuming and set design of the production.rnrn
""Bobby was great. He was very supportive of my ideas. That was something that we came up with together. He was the inspiration and the influence over there," said LaRue.rnrn
"Wildlife was behind me in the beginning when I got started and we've both grown together. I've really enjoyed working with them for the past two years, but I think its time to move on," added Sights.rnrn
Jason Sechrest, who will be the new production companies publicist, points out, "The dragonfly is the spiritual symbol of 'transformation' and Dragonfly Productions will serve as just that for Shay and Renee."
