WESTLAKE
VILLAGE, Calif. - Paul "Poppy" Gelvezon was hired Monday as L3 Payments' vice
president of sales and marketing.
L3 Founder Kjell Petridis stated, ""L3 Payments has been quietly servicing this industry for years but with Paul's accomplished background and network, we are confident that our services will reach a broader audience of webmasters interested in taking more control of their online businesses. We've known of Pauls' accomplishments at Jupiter for years and we are thrilled to have him on our team."
Gelvezon will be responsible
for selling, marketing and expanding L3's business from its core of high-profile
clients. In his previous position as a senior account executive with Jupiter
Hosting, he spent almost five years enrolling new clients and maintaining their
accounts.
Gelvezon explained the draw to join L3 Payments. "Kjell's reputation and experience in high-risk credit card processing are some of the reasons I have joined L3 Payments. Kjell was on the founding management team for Jettis, was its President for six years and has over 10 years experience in the high-risk credit card processing space. The guy cares about people, which transcends down to our clients. The client list didn't hurt either. This was attractive to me. I see L3 Payments as a sleeping giant, ready to wake."
L3 Payments provides merchant
accounts for webmasters through relationships with six banks in three Visa
regions, including the United States,
the EU and Latin America. The company will add
a new bank on Dec. 1.
