The awards, which are announced ahead of time, are awarded by the 1600 hundred members of F.O.X.E. by write-in ballots.

Lexington Steele was named Male Performer of the Year, his first time winning the award.

"This is great. I've been coming to F.O.X.E. awards since I moved to L.A. and its nice to finally be the one receiving the award," Steele told AVN.com. Steele noted that fans were what the industry was based on, and that the Internet had made it even easier to keep in touch with them.

Belladonna and Jill Kelly were both named Female Performer of the year. This was Belladonna's first time winning this award and Kelly's third, making the Jill Kelly Productions chief ineligible for future nominations for this award according to the F.O.X.E. rules. Only two other women, Nina Hartley and Ashlyn Gere have received that award three times.

Unfortunately, Kelly was not able to attend the event. Neither could Vixen of the Year award winner Taylor Rain, who was on a set at the time.

Hosted by Bill Margold, who organized the event, the evening featured burlesque nude dancers, thus the lack of alcohol in the establishment. Christi Lake emceed the proceedings.

The highlight of the event was the broast of Amber Lynn was being honored for her lifetime achievements. She sat on a throne on the center of the stage as porn luminaries such as Ron Jeremy, Henri Pachard and Buck Adams, Lynn's brother, told jokes and memories of her career. Fans came on stage as well to present Lynn with gifts.
