WantedList, HeatSeek Ink Deal
Software developer helps rental service go completely confidential

WantedList.com has teamed with software developer
HeatSeek.com to create a WantedList database within the confines of the HeatSeek software. Users now will be able to rent movies privately from WantedList, due to the fact that HeatSeek is a totally confidential adult browser, organizer, media player, and downloader.
HeatSeek's software allows the user to browse, search, and buy adult products without leaving a history on the computer, which eliminates any possible embarrassment of someone else's discovering one's rentals and purchases. The company recently entered into a similar partnership with online retailer
AdultDVDEmpire.
"HeatSeek has their own independent browser that, when installed on your machine, allows users to anonymously surf the Web without any history — it allows you to save video and images into one central area that's only accessible with a password," explained WantedList co-founder Anh Tran. "We built a store inside their system, which allows users to build a queue, look for movies, and bookmark favorites without having to use their regular browser. Once you install the HeatSeek software, when you open up your homepage, you see our store prominently featured next to two or three other stores."
"It makes sense for us because our users are trying to build as much anonymity as possible — it's a great fit," Tran said. "HeatSeek's install has a very sizable install base for a young company, and we see huge potential for it to grow into the millions. That's when everybody starts printing money."
