China Barbie Loses Domain Name Battle To Mattel

NEW YORK – Mattel, Inc., manufacturer of one of the most popular children's toys ever, the Barbie doll, has used its corporate power to force a settlement with former porn star China Barbie, the result of which gives Mattel ownership rights to the domain name chinabarbie.com.

"I never really thought I could win against them," China Barbie told AVN. "I'm just happy that my lawyer was able to get me out of the lawsuit without my having to pay them any money, but I did have to give up my rights to my name."

Taking the loss in stride, China Barbie (who now goes by China B) is currently creating content for her new website, BrownandReady.com, which specializes in women of color, all of which she shoots herself. It's a pay site, but a free tour is available.
