LOS ANGELES
- VCX
has launched VCX Live, a site that features VCX films in a high-quality,
full-screen format.
The pay-per-view site, launched
in partnership with video-technology company Evotum, is said to offer a
DVD-like viewing experience that requires no downloading or player
installation. Films can be viewed full-screen with virtually no buffering
delays on any Internet connection, the company said. After a film has been
viewed, all player materials are removed from the user's hard drive.
"There is such a
remarkable increase in the video quality of the Evotum experience, I know this
is going to be a home run," VCX President David Sutton said. "Being the first
XXX feature film company on the planet, we're very proud to also be the first
adult company to offer our great classic titles in the Evotum format at
VCXLive.com."
The initial lineup of VCX films available on the new site includes Debbie Does Dallas, Sex World, A Dirty Western, Little
Girls Blue, The Devil in Miss Jones and all four episodes of Henri Pachard's Taboo American Style miniseries.
