Pueblo, Colo. - Traffic Dude and ExpressPro have merged to create an
"online advertising powerhouse," Traffic Dude announced Wednesday.
Traffic Dude said the merged businesses, operating as
Traffic Dude, will offer the most comprehensive range of media buying and traffic
purchase options and related traffic management services.
"In looking to our own company's future, we knew that it
would become critical for us to start bundling more complementary high-end
media purchase options to those we already provide for advertisers," Traffic
Dude co-founder Scott Rabinowitz said. "Few ad-purchasing platforms in the
marketplace can compete with the quality and [return on investment] provided by
paid inclusion on the top search engines.
"We've worked with [ExpressPro] on various projects over
many years and could see clearly that ExpressPro was a solid business and one
which would complement the suite of Traffic Dude offerings perfectly. We look
forward to working with Express Pro on this and related high-end traffic
management projects for many years to come."
Greg Dumas, president of GEC Media, the parent company of
ExpressPro, echoed Rabinowitz's sentiments.
"We've been great friends with the Traffic Dude team for
years, and during our conversations, one thing became clear: We are both
committed to providing quality traffic products that generate a solid return on
investment to our clients, innovative technology and a dedication to service,"
he said. "Combining forces with an established industry firm to offer a broader
range of quality, targeted advertising products to our client base is the best
move for us and for our clients."
The combined company's paid-inclusion services will be
offered in tandem with Traffic Dude's existing media buying and traffic
management offerings.
Traffic Dude expects the "single-vendor relationship" to
help companies more effectively manage campaigns on multiple media-buying
platforms and destination Web properties.
Traffic Dude predicted that ExpressPro's integration would
be "seamless and short."
The combined company will maintain its key staff in markets such
as Los Angeles, Florida,
Arizona and Toronto.
