Inevitably, it occurred to someone that "tranny" rhymes with "Annie." Thus it became absolutely necessary to parody a comic strip that hasn't been in circulation since the Roosevelt Administration. Not a moment too late!
It ain't much of a satire: Annie (Kylie), wearing an ill-fitting red fright wig, receives the business end of "Daddy Morecock's" warhead in the dingy orphanage basement. Hell, the real Annie had more complicated/interesting plots in its three daily panels.
And talk about missed opportunities: Annie's "Daddy Warbucks" was friggin' bald - just like Tom Moore. So who plays Moorecock? Little Billy. Sexual energy is equally miscast; or completely orphaned.
This phony-freckled waif is about as sexy as her namesake was funny.
Retailing: May have novelty appeal for Little Orphan Annie fans.
