This Czech production achieves what very few so-called "couples" erotic features have managed: Snow Fun presents fairly explicit sex between young, beautiful people, but in a slow, sensuous, nonthreatening manner that might intrigue a curious wife, girlfriend or single woman who's not interested in the harder stuff. (Don't expect anal sex, screaming or facials.) Not to infer that this wintry romp is generic softcore; it's just that the videomakers allow plenty of time and temptation to build up before revealing penetrative action, and the lush, crisp camerawork doesn't stray from the pleasure of the participants.

Plot-wise, this perfunctory tale of several sexy European boy and girl pals driving off to a snowy mountain retreat doesn't provide much in the way of character development. Barely a word gets spoken; director Andrej Lupin strategically drowns out the occasional foreign talking with music. However, when things heat up, his performers' expressive grunts and moans mean the same in any language.

At one point, lovely blonde Annely Gerritsen escapes from the group for a private bathtub masturbation scene. Among the three romantic boy/girl encounters, a passionate candlelit hump between all-natural brunette Emylia Argan and skinny stud Kristof Cale is a standout.
