Synopsis

What really happens at XXX casting sessions? In “The Casting Couch,” director Kevin Moore’s unique technique reveals the reality—security cam footage plus action captured on his handheld camera create a voyeuristic view of what goes down behind the scenes of four porn girls’ racy job interviews. They arrive in sexy attire and get naked to show off their bodies and moves. We get to see them discuss their porn ambitions, sexual histories and the acts they’re willing to perform on camera. And when their sexy shenanigans inspire the director to jerk off, well, these girls take advantage ... with wet blowjobs, hot fucking and cum facials that prove their talent and attitude.

Reviews

A "real life," "hidden camera" look at the casting process for adult videos. Play along. The POV changes between a fixed camera near the ceiling and a hand-held camera, with the face of the "casting director" discreetly pixelated and the girl on full display.

The first performer, Madelyn Monroe, seems interested in the casting director's offers, not recoiling when he mentions "erotica" and getting really interested when he says she could make $1,000 a day for "adult movies." She admits that she has "fooled around for friends, but I've never done anything professional" on camera. When she says "sex on camera is a little crazy, for everybody to see" it looks like the game is up, but our casting director gets her to open up about her personal life and gets her down to posing in her underwear and touching herself for his camera. You know, just to get started. When she catches him jerking off as she touches herself, rather than run out of the room screaming she accepts it and is soon sucking his cock. Then fucking him on his desk. And, eventually, taking all her clothes off. And taking a facial. When he says, "You made your first porno," she says "No!" incredulously. And then she starts talking business with the agent: "We'll start with the solos, okay?"

The next would-be performer, Chloe Amour, is even more oblivious than Monroe, seemingly unaware of the camera getting closeups of her high-heeled shoes and some upskirt shots as she gets out of her car. When the subject of "adult movies" comes up, she tells the casting director that she's always up for new experiences, which is promising. When she says she used to be a stripper and nude model, that's even more promising, and when the casting director's mention of "anal sex" elicits a giggle and she starts cataloging her sexual experiences it's only a matter of time before she adds "sex on camera" to the list.

Cherry Morgan, a little more mature and businesslike, says she's "trying to get some modeling gigs." When he mentions "adult movies" she frowns and says, "like, porn?" dismissively, but soon she admits being a "head whore" in high school, giving blowjobs to avoid intercourse. Soon she finds herself facing his erect cock and asking coquettishly, "What do you want me to do?" but the "head whore" instincts kick in and she's on the desk, panties pushed aside, with the casting director balls-deep in her.

The final scene features Juelz Ventura, who comes in as an established performer instead of a wide-eyed newbie, looking for feature dancing gigs. She consents to the casting director giving her a once-over to see how she looks, but performing in videos "isn't my main priority anymore ... I'm not advertising myself as a 'porn star.'" When she sees him jerking as she dances, she asks bemusedly, "Is this how you get the new girls?" and he responds with a sheepish, "Sometimes"—and without missing a beat she dives mouth-first onto his dick, saying that this is how she's going to get the job. There's something honest under the artifice of this scene, with the curtain pulled back just a little to show that the "casting office" scenarios are really professionals pretending.

Well executed. Maybe a little long, but solid.
