Black Beach Patrol is a near-perfect disc with really clean close-ups and a good sharp picture. The colors are vibrant and crisp with only a moderate amount of noise in the picture. There is a slight problem with moire and pixelation around the edges, but nothing that should keep interested viewers from purchasing the disc.

Unfortunately, the quality of Lessons in Love cannot match that of Black Beach Patrol 4. Whether this is due to a poor quality source, or poor mastering is difficult to say. The colors in this picture are very warm and the shadows are purple. There is a very distracting moire pattern, and grainy quality to the picture. The dark scenes are particularly bad due to the visible grain and pixelation.
