Reviews

Parody triumphs over porno in this freewheeling farce based on the popular court room sitcom. Jon Moore's script hits the target on many of Ally McBeal's eccentric characterizations. The cast displays unique comedic talents even when the laughs are due to their inept execution. Unfortunately, all of this is much more exciting than the sex. David Brett's trademark choppy and poorly composed camerawork carries more of the blame for this than the cast.

The one exception is the lesbian threeway behind bars. Allysin Chaynes, playing the title role, and Monique confer with their incarcerated client, Nancy Vee. The interclitular wanderings unfold at a well-choreographed pace - not particularly graphic or intense, but pleasantly watchable. Monique lets them satisfy her muscular pubis, then the two pin Allysin up against the bars with their tongues.

Nice comedy bits from Alec Metro as the shark attorney hound-dogged by Temptress; Lexington Steele as the panty obsessed Johnny Cockring; Ron Jeremy as the second-string attorney everyone shits on; and Herschel Savage as the iron-gaveled Judge Mental who takes a keen interest in the vaginal hygiene of each case.
