Synopsis

Facetiousness aside, this release is precisely the ticket for viewers who fast-forward through the dialog of Jim Holiday videos (If Malibu also happens to be Holiday, we offer our condolences).

Reviews

Jumping between the locker room and a dorm room, sports jock Erik Everhard does his best to satisfy enough female talent for two-dozen standard vids. The results are almost frighteningly banal. First of all, the editing runs the gamut from indiscriminate to schizophrenic, putting the viewer at the disadvantage of not knowing whose pussy is being boinked. This style-without-grace is particularly evident in the first hour, which maddeningly jump-cuts between crotch shots without showing the recipient's face (or possible pleasure) to any satisfying degree, if at all. The audience is likewise denied the thrill of initial penetration shots, whether fore or aft.

Secondly, the girls seem to disappear and reappear at will, making the locker room either crowded as the stateroom scene in Night at the Opera or barren as the desert in Walkabout. Furthermore, the women barely work with each other at all in the weak first half, and only to a perfunctory degree down the line. What a waste.

Annoyingly, the dorm room scenes are most often populated by the ethnic babes, which only serves to lend the production an unintentional - but palpable - segregated ambiance. (Let's chalk it up to a scheduling gaffe.) Yet, in these moments WLJ really begins to shine, as the ethnic cast finally equals Everhard's prodigious enthusiasm. Monique DeMoan and Mia Smiles are just a few of the faces that manage to leave a lasting impression.

There's obviously a lot invested in the success of WLJ, and we wish this wasn't the case, but on the heat meter WLJ is flat-out tepid. The AAA 1/2 rating is based solely on the "stunt" value of its casting.
