Even a great idea, poorly executed, won't work. This video's producers know there are people who want to see muscles straining between men and women in a WWF version of the timeless battle of the sexes, but not too many people will sit still for shoddy production values and sloppiness in misrepresenting what the actual product contains. Box credits are different from what is in this video, marked by static camera work, and no editing worth mentioning. The content, of course, is as phony as a soap opera. Of the two 3-round "bouts," the first is almost watchable, as Tina Owen digs into her role with a relish that might have appealed to lovers of mat-whomping half-nelsons, if the almost nonexistent production values of the video as a whole hadn't sabotaged what little there is of quality. Politically correct, the girls triumph over the guys. Since it's vanilla, we shouldn't see it as an expression of male masochism, but there it is.
