Devinn Lane's father (Randy Spears), a private dick, has disappeared, and Lane, a Homicide detective, is worried. When Lane went to see dad at his office for their daily end-of-the-day drink, the drinks were poured, his gun was in the desk, and there was a trail of blood heading out the door. Fellow cop Joel Lawrence gets the call for backup as Shelbee Myne comes to the office.

Turns out dad broke Rule One with Myne when he was investigating her case. Lane's search takes her to a former porn star (Zana) who's being blackmailed by a mysterious harasser with old footage of her nefarious past. Now Lane has to find him and stop him, with no help from dear old Dad.

Good images by Matthew Chaos highlight six sex scenes, including one five-person orgy set on a porn shoot, all easily removed for cable. Lane plays her no-nonsense character well. Emerson drops in some clever cameos by familiar porn players and keeps things moving nicely.
