X-rated Auditions shares a lot of qualities with its Wildlife stablemate Screw My Wife Please, with hostess Renée LaRue taking the Dave Cummings role of doing the intros and "meeting new talent" the premise instead of "men offering their wives to porn studs." Chloe Dior gets her rocks off with Cheyne Collins; then Alana Evans gets warmed up by LaRue before they team up to break in newbie Darren Blade.

Cindy, who doesn't speak much English (but moans quite well) does a mood-lit scene with Brett Rockman with anal and a facial finish. Fiona Cheeks, who has a thing for "biker-looking guys," gets together with Marty Romano. Good choice. Exotic-looking Midnite Isis, who looks like she time-warped out of the '20s, makes time with Pat Myne in the anchor lap.

Throughout, Renée LaRue kibitzes, masturbates, joins in, validating the observer's role. Cameraman Barry Wood and editor Victor Raskol do their usual excellent work, capturing and collating the images to make something greater than the sum of the parts, including Raskol's post-scene greatest-hits montages. "Average" tech score on DVD due to some moire, but nothing that's a deal-breaker.
