Veteran director Bob Chinn's return to porn continues with Hard Bound, the story of yuppie Nina Hartley's chance meeting —when her car breaks down on a country road— with good ol' boy Dale Dabone. Hartley's late for sister T.J. Hart's birthday party, but Dabone's no mechanic, and after his truck also won't start, the pair hoof it to civilization via a field, a stream... and the inevitable abandoned barn.

Most of the action between the two is "fantasy": Photographer Hartley, imagining Dabone as her model, delivers a b.j. with an oral finish, while Dabone fancies Hartley licking his chest before he applies tongue to her lower curls. Finally, they do actually fuck, with Hartley furiously fingering her own clit for an orgasm.

Meanwhile, hart and gal-pal Tina Tyler get in some girl/girl loving (look for a real Tyler orgasm) while waiting for Hartley's blind date, James Bonn, to arrive for the party. When he finally does, hot Hart figures he'd rather have a T.J. b.j. —which of course leads to some doggie and mish action, with Tyler soloing in the background and occasionally applying a vibe to Hart's not-so-privates.

But while the sex in this feature is good, it's hard to tell whether the problem with the storyline is poor dialogue, lack of rehearsal or that Hartley and Dabone have little chemistry together. Apparently, after so long an absence from The Biz, Chinn is regaining his "sea legs," and we expect better from him in the future.
