A half-French, half-American production, Day Dreamer concerns an erotic novelist (Chase) whose fantasies we get to see enacted.  The whole video is very reminiscent of Night Trips and other Andrew Blake films with its voice-overs, slow dissolves, and soft-focus camera work.  This is high-end couples fare, a hallucinatory landscape of sexuality where beautiful people get it on in mansions and huge pools.

One standout scene chronicles Hall, Decker and Berrymore going at it on a bed that suddenly appears in the garden.  It may or may not be a dream of Decker's.  You get the idea.  Another is the second scene with Chase, Stone and Michaels in a poolside Sapphic threeway that ends with Michaels nailing Stone with a strap-on.

This is a very good-looking, well-shot, interesting film.  The only quibble is its short running time, which causes the seven sex scenes to go by at breakneck speed.
