Call this on Pussy on a Hot Tin Roof.  The inter-character tensions and plot situations in this Southern-fried concoction have Tennessee Williams written all over them.  The acting is good by porn standards (the accents are pretty consistent, and nobody emphasizes important lines by saying "F'shure!") and the five sex scenes (one a g/g/g) work, both serving the plot and maintaining the heat quotient.

Unfortunately, the sound is poorly recorded, a definite drawback when the dialogue is important like it is here.  Not a deal-breaker, but enough to nudge Summer of Sin out of Spotlight Pick territory.

Pre-noms to Frank Bukkwyd for non-sex performance as the Big Daddy character, and Cash Markman for his screenplay and direction.
