The indefatigable, enormously talented Pierre Woodman has mounted a lavish period costume drama that combines Gone With the Wind's production values and Private's trademark sizzling sex scenes to create a film that should garner talk of many nominations.

Tatiana is the first part of a trilogy concerning the trials and tribulations of a young peasant girl whose family has fallen on hard times.  When the unscrupulous landowner, the Marquis, takes advantage of her sister, Tatiana plots her revenge and enters a brothel.  Part one ends as she plans a rendezvous with the virgin-seeking aristocrat.

The best scene is a five-man gangbang, as the sister is ravished by the Marquis and his Hungarian Hussars.  She gets in on a table doggie, anal-doggie, mish, cowgirl, reverse-cowgirl anal and a five-man-d.p.-in-rotation, followed by five facials.  Hopefully, some things won't change after the revolution.
