In life, it's said, one can never be too rich or too thin. But in porn, one can definitely be too laid-back. And therein lies the trouble with The Video Adventures of Peeping Tom 12.

Yes, the production values are top-notch, the girls are foxes all and the sets have that glamorous, upper-income-bracket feel to them.

But the sex is just too dams mellow, with nary an audible moan or groan in several of the tape's five couplings and one threeway. Instead, the sound-track gives us wall-to-wall New Age Muzak. How appropriate.

It's a given that this series is aimed at couples rather than single guys who want some nasty shit to j.o. to on a Saturday night. But even couples might want to switch to some harder-edged material after viewing the somnolent boffing that composes most of Peeping Tom 12.

About the only real signs of life come care of veteran Nici Sterling, who's not usually the most spirited performer, but who most definitely is here, as she gets d.p.'d by hubby Wilde Oscar and Sean Michaels.
