The most anticipated release of 2006 should become a blockbuster in 2007. Two megastars team up for action in an elaborately mounted fantasy, and they and their creative team make it well worth the wait.
As Jenna's character puts it, it's all about "my journey through Hell."
The backstory is told in an excellent animated sequence: Jenna and Janine are having sex in a limo when it crashes and Janine is hauled off in a body bag. In live action, the distraught Jenna returns to her boyfriend, slits her wrists in the bathtub and winds up Down Below.
In fact, she's only in the vestibule to Hell, where the newly dead get orientated. Jenna runs into Janine and the girls decide to get out. When they finally reach the real Hell, it's actually frozen over. They meet the Prince of Darkness (Justin Sterling), who demands sex in the snow.
Finally, Jenna and Janine wake up in Jenna's bathtub and go at each other with a vengeance. Is it real – Is it a dream – Well, it's high-energy, go-for-broke passion – a coupling every bit as epic as their fans would expect.
