“Bob” certainly knows his specialty material, from the very pedestrian (solo girl masturbation) to specific fetishes (bridal dress-up, pantyhose, shoes, legs); and ultimately reaches such outré subjects as cigarette-smoking-lesbian scenarios. Additionally, he manages to line up a delicious roster of pretty models, mostly unknowns, who potray his little skits with an attitude truly dedicated to the medium.

The editing, which one might charitably call deliberately paced, favors tease sequences – no hardcore fucking is to be found. For pro-am stuff, these tapes have reached the ceiling of possibilities. This may be a good thing for viewers with modest expectations, but when we see talent we tend to encourage it. Bob handles a camcorder pretty competently, so each volume is consistent and watchable; but if all the nondescript locations and lack of visual panache were to suddenly take a leap in quality – say, studio-shot Betacam, with real lighting, more costumes, and zipper editing – the series could go even further.
