Where the Girls Sweat: Grand Openings will give your lesbo-loving aficionados a great, meat-beating workout. But it's a little disappointing when you consider the expectations attached to this first real feature from first-rate gonzo director Tom Byron. That's because this 16-girl slutfest only intermittently erupts into the white-hot carnality that has marked most of Tom Byron's work this past year. And it simply can't compare to the original WtGS.

Still, the cast is awesome, the production values are excellent, and the flesh-filled boxcover and the Elegant Angel name are certain to make this tape a popular one. If only Byron had pumped up the energy level throughout, especially during the under-realized, 11-clam finale.
