From Kubler-Ross' Six Phases of Porn Viewer's Decline, rev.: 1. Excitement over pending cute plot and hot and nasty sex develops into 2. Anticipation of decent set ups and better-than-average fucking, which becomes 3. Anxiety over having been duped by a glossy boxcover and one's own hopes, again spiraling into 4. Desperation as the viewer searches for just one redeeming element, and 5. Outrage that the producer didn't even bother, finally bottoming out into 6. Catatonia from which the viewer occasionally rousts herself to produce a foul and meal review. (This often has a healing effect. Also known as Catharsis.)
