According to the boxcovers, SFA is "the first legitimately all black amateur series ever." Some might argue the point, but if things don't get better, it might be moot.

Vol. 1 is utterly forgettable. Three lackluster scenes, with woefully inadequate coverage and few closeups are further under-enhanced by what appears to be a case of in-camera editing. Vol. 2 is a definite improvement, with better use of coverage and a more willing cast.

If future volumes continue to improve, this series might actually go somewhere.
