Love it or hate it, the movie Showgirls has already spawned an exasperating number of straight-to-video imitators about pole and lap dancers. Rest assured, though, none are likely to approach the style, energy and class of the tersely-titled Strip.

It might be argued that attempting to fathom why a woman does this for a living (logical answer: the money), holds as much academic suspense as the answer to who put the bop in the bop-she-bop. In which case, unless you're contemplating a masters thesis on the ulterior motives of striptease, you'll forgive the multi-national interview segments as one more attempt by Playboy to ease on down the oft-traveled pedantic road of life.

Unlike what you'll find in a mainstream treatment of the subject, full nudity rears its beautiful head quite often including a zesty pussy shaving scenario and a fantasy sequence at the tape's end that's high on the list of memorable Playboy video moments.
