Critical Rating: AA 1/2

This is one of those videos that, with more creativity and more energy, “coulda been a contenda” in the porn psycho-drama arena. Jerry Butler’s characterization of a “peep show addict” who is unable to relate one-on-one with a “real” woman is sublime. It has just the right mixture of pathos and sensitivity; but alas, the rest of the features isn’t up to his performance. It’s essentially a wall-to-waller that has Jerry “on the outside looking in” at girls in glass booths, while fantasizing about them getting fucked – either by him, or someone else.

The poor sound detracts from the sex in Peep Land – which runs from “ho hum” to erotic. The two highlights both feature Kym Wilde, who all but devours peep-show manager T.T. Boy on the lobby couch, and later gives all her attention to Flame in a peep show I won’t soon forget! As long as your expectations aren’t too high, this video noir will satisfy your voyeuristic urges. Interesting packaging.
