Straight up: the mediocre camera work and weak plot detract points from this "slice of life in da hood" video, which features the beautiful and statuesque newcomer, Champagne. It's been a successful and well-marketed series, though, and this relatively hot entry should help promulgate its success.

Clichés run rampant, with rival "gangastas" fighting for the local drug trade (Jake Baker and hits henchmen Moose and John D Player vs. Julian "Eight-Ball" St. Jox and his enforcer, Tony Montana).

Girl from the hood (Champagne) makes good by going to college – only to be given grief by the very friends who insisted she attend because they think she's getting "snooty". The racist "white bread" sorority sister (Nikki Sinn) is more than willing to fuck Champagne, but wouldn't dream of being seen with her otherwise – and who convinces Champagne's college boyfriend (Rick O'Shea) of the same by seducing him. Of course, the cliché list wouldn't be complete without a few homegirls (Janet Jackme and Cumisha) naturally referred to as 'ho's. Granted, all of this is done tongue-in-cheek enough to avoid being offensive, but the upshot is that it comes across as tired.

But how's the sex, you ask? Well, the answer is, better than average overall, with moments of intense heat, sometimes nullified by inadequate camera coverage. Highlights include both of Tony "the Latin Lover" Montana's scenes (first with Janet Jackme, then later with Cumisha), which could have been hot as hell with better camera work; and the sometimes tender, always hot tape-ender with Julian and Champagne. The bottom line on this vid: market with the first two volumes for maximum effect.
