Cat & Mouse 2 tries to catch the same lightning in the bottle as its marvelous little prequel, but unfortunately it catches cold and needs a script doctor to mend the dumb ending and some of the grain-of-salt plot contrivances.
As in the first feature, Jeanna Fine is up to her old tricks again. This time she harrasses Jon Dough, who seems to be making a living playing set-upon husbands in Michael Craig features. (Check out last year's Gerein' Up). Fine spies Dough in his driveway and after going out of her way to tell Dough she'd like to fuck him, initiates a series of phone calls with Dough as the mouse and her as the cat.
The games culminate in a pretty good sex scene between Dough and Fine's accomplice, Chrissy Ann, who acts the pliant, pretty little waif. Another accomplice, Tami Monroe, sort of falls out of the story never to be heard from again after a strap-on scene between her and Fine. Meo, as Dough's wife, continues to contribute great sexual performances, illustrated by her withering attack on Dough in the feature's opener and a self-administered dildo in a D.P. strap-on scene with Teri Diver (now where did she come from?).
There was a certain amount of originality, surprise and cockeyed inventiveness of the first feature that Cat & Mouse 2 tries to emulate but can't manage to get a handle on. Even the boxcover goes for precisely the same look as the first feature.
