Critical Rating: AAAAA
In a highly convoluted and intricate plot, Eric Edwards plays a young writer who is hired to ghost the autobiography of a famous woman (Kay Parker). When he comes to live with her, he soon discovers some rather bizarre things, such as the woman's blind daughter (Joanna Storm), her racketeering husband and a very clever and sexy maid. Coupled with his mind being constantly haunted with his past, especially his former girlfriend (Tina Maria), the young writer does everything he can just to remain sane. The jumbled plot, which is told almost entirely in flashbacks, has a hypnotic effect, throwing the viewer off guard and into a quasi-erotic state that heightens the sensual aspects of this bizarre sex film. Joanna Storm is stupendous, displaying a genuine talent for honest emotion on the screen, yet retaining her sensual intensity. The exotic and mysterious girlfriend is wonderfully played by Tina Maria (billed as Victoria Jackson in the titles), and Kay Parker, as the quirky, sexy woman, is classy and sassy.
