Trash film maven John Waters makes an important distinction in his autobiog between "good bad taste and bad bad taste." Spankology 101 (Section A) falls into the latter category.
The first 20 minutes of this video stars pretty P.J. Sparxx and Chanel in a spanking and whipping segment wholly unrelated to the rest of the vid. In this segment, the two girls drip candle wax on each other and employ a few colored whips. Hardly worth a mention.
The second segment features Desi and Michael Keye, respectively, playing an actress and her maybe-gay makeup artist. Desi berates Keye for his lousy work, telling him that he really wants to be a woman. An uninspired spanking/whipping session follows.
The third segment continues the "plot" — sort of — with brunette Ashley. Ashley and Desi decide to dominate and humiliate Michael (dressing him in a bra and garter), whipping him with many unnecessary close-ups of his jockey-clad ass. The girls are pathetically unskilled in the art of domination and Michael might just be this genre's worst submissive.
It's incompetent work, albeit not unbearable, but mediocrity is not a crime. What is, is when the women begin to denigrate Michael for the possibility that he has AIDS because he may have "taken it up the ass with many men." The ongoing, squealing diatribe is continually peppered with bad taste AIDS references wholly unconducive to sexual role-playing and fantasy. This gratuitous editorializing is rendered in incredibly bad taste.
