Don Fernando plays some sort of rising movie star who gets caught peeping into a ladies room and is thrown into jail. He complains that he feels like a monkey behind bars, which is somewhat appropriate, since his character is cleverly named Zippy. Anyhow, Jenna Wells plays Zippy’s girlfriend, and an interesting phenomenon occurs; the sound is so muffled during this show that most of the dialogue is unintelligible, but Jenna, for a change, is the only one you can understand. I guess her accent and the lousy sound cancel each other out. I recommend she hire this technician for life. The videographer, however, should be dumpled, since everybody keeps turning green, and I don’t think it’s from the prison food. None of the action gets above the so-so level, and not even pretty Tracy Winn and boyfriend David Angel (billed as Dave Black) can elicit much interest. A bizarre picture of Don Fernando on the cover is eye-catching, though; he looks like something out of that Twilight Zone episode where the ventriloquist’s dummy comes to life. Fortunately, there’s the lovely Jenna to look at also.
