Just check out that cast list again; aside from changeable of the changable last name, is there anybody you haven't heard of and admired for years? Well, folks, they are as good in the clinches as they ever were, and some sterling direction by The Master has turned a good-but-not-great script for the high quality The Witching Hour into something that's sexually stunning.

Ashlyn Gere plays a lonely, warty witch who's lookin' for love in all the wrong places: her "magic mirror" (featuring the voice of Henri Pachard) and a pay phone whose number she keeps calling, hoping some handsome stud who won't mind her ugliness will answer. Said stud turns out to be Tom Byron, but as we learn, he'll screw anybody, even the uglied-up Ashlyn. (Check those teeth during Tom's blow-job — ecch!) Of course, she gets hung up on him — do feel free to skip the psycho babble later — and as a present, she transforms herself into Britt Morgan and Tom into Peter North, one of his favorite porn stars, and they go at it again. Then, as a test of his faithfulness, of which he's got zip, she visits him as Francesca Le, seduces him, changes him into Randy West, and proceeds to burn down the set with hot action.

I gotta tell ya, folks, the plot pretty much falls apart from there, so I won't go into Ashlyn's "meaningless sex" with Joey Silvera or the revenge fuck (as Britt again) on Tommy. The scene featuring the talented (and now lovely) Gere has her ripping Silvera apart. In fact, the sex is boiling throughout, and best of all, all the ladies are believably Ashlyn Gere with a different face! One of the best is Francesca, a lady we can look to for some great performances in the future ... but you can catch her here, now ... and you should! Great packaging and a fine choice for retailers watching their quality.
