It seems like Essex thrives best when its features offer one-way departures from the land of sense and sanity, to wit: Barbara The Barbarian, Surf, Sand And Sex and The Mischief Maker, These sexvids have that looney Marx Brothers meet The Merry Melodies zing to them.
In Wild In The Wilderness, Chelsey Mews (Barbara Dare) and her compatriot Nora Dickledoo (Kathleen Jentry) are two of the most dubious newshounds ever to stalk a story. The story being stalked for this front page feature is a costume shop Sasquatch called Big Putz, and National Expirer (a tabloid which has more pejoratives than Megan Leigh has aliases) wants eye-witless accounts. Big Putz: myth or holdover from the stone age? Dare never really determines as she's too engrossed taking it up the crackasaurus from boss Vinnie Cardinale (Robert Bullock) and a survivalist named Flambo (Peter North) doing Francois Papillon vocal impressions, while the rest of the cast is off playing Deliverance with okies Big Mac Hie and his Dogpatch wife, Beulah (Larry Harwood and Gail Force). "Hey, Mac knows all the words to 'Old MacDonald'...drop your pants!"
The outdoor settings and crisp colors are a great deliverance from the cookie cutter vids we've been used to seeing. The sex (Dare, Jentry and Laurel Canyon are really in the groove here) is couples-oriented, passionate and Dare's scenes are real screaming-Mimi matches.
The repartee is nuts, corny, a little predictable, yet works because in this grand ol' Opry playlet the cast is on a collective verge of busting a gut, and straight faces are definitely an effort. A good sense of fun is enough to recommend Wild In The Wilderness. The wild sex makes it even that much better, and anyone with a remote eye for video should spend their viewing time in these here woods.
