I guess the idea was to do something on the order of Fatal Attraction since the movie's alluded to in the infidelity laced buddy banter between Mike Horner and Jon Martin. But Horner's extracurriculars with Laurel Canyon suffer low budget repercussions no stronger than Horner's manic wincing and wife Alicia Monet's threats to trade "an orgasm for an orgasm." histrionics here.

Horner's sex scene with Canyon peels the paper off the bathroom walls ala Henri Pachard and Megan Leigh gets tossed in the fracas as a second generation sexual side player in a flashback sequence. But that's alright because the blase palavering between Martin and Horner needs all the supplemental energy it can get. The ladies definitely pull this one out of the bucket. And they were terrific.
