Critical Rating: AAA

The Hot  Box Invasion is a solid professional effort, that's technically well done with a good soundtrack, smooth camerawork and even a bit of acting between some of the erotic scenes.

That's the good part, and the reason this earns a rating as a good sexvid- .a problem lies with the plot. Aliens, who look like something out of the cheapest Japanese monster movie ever, made, introduce videotapes that get Earthlings uncontrollably excited. As it turns out, while members of the cast get hot and bothered watching the tape, their lovemaking is also being filmed for the enjoyment of the next viewer. That's a great vehicle in terms of tying the cast together, but it doesn't work as a sensible plot. Oh well, this is the age of sexvids.

But, as mentioned at the top, the inane plot is overshadowed by the strong points. Steamy sex, top-notch production values and a non-kinky feel (designed for couples) makes The Hot Box Invasion worth a rental.
