Critical Rating: AA 1/2

For the individual who likes afternoon soap operas on TV, this video will able. The themeof Games Couples Play is "relationships in trouble," as Alexa Parks wants to settle down while her boyfriend (Peter North) wants to hang loose. Her plan is to make him jealous by getting it on with other guys so he'll want her enough to get married.

The pace of this tape is extremely slow and deadly serious throughout. No humor at all — just straight-faced melodrama all the way. The sex scenes are tame, but are complete. Thereare no breaks in the action and the females aggressively pursue their men. One of the strangest gigs concerns North making it with Keisha behind his girlfriend's back. In a dramatic scene where she catches them together, Keisha breaks out laughing.

Games Couples Play is a solid Peter North vehicle, and he occupies most of the scenes. And although Keisha is given top billing, she doesn't make her entrance until at least 40 minutes into the tape (and her performance is a quickie). The close-ups are quite detailed, but the colors are light and the flesh tones are not always realistic. Games Couples Play is an OK sexvid that is not going to offend anyone.
