The credits say the director is Bobby Hollander but so much of this video screamed MARGOLD that I called him to check. Sure enough he directed and co-wrote it with his lady, Viper. We discover that the reason this mess is so incoherent is that the explanatory narration done by Penny Lane was edited out as were a few miscellaneous shots to help tell the story. What is left is the now unbilled Japanese girl showing up for some reason at the house of her cousin Aja and trying to get into the movies. She winds up working at a wax museum. Appropriate, since she has only one expression – bewilderment. Unfortunately, the sex kitten Stacy Lords the outstanding coupling with Rachel Ryan (in an offbeat character role) and Eric coming in a close second. The rest – not too hot. Taped a year and a half ago, this is a strange mix in a pretty box.
