Critical Rating: AAA 1/2
While editing gaffes left the first feature resembling shards of Etruscan pottery, I find the sequel a more pleasurable viewing experience on several different levels —the humor is less pretentious; Joey Silvera's character, Easy Ed, is allowed to roam the range a bit; and the frat/sorority references are a little more universal and less in-joke incubator bred.
Tianna, Bionca, Megan Leigh and Barbara Dare are pledges to Upsilon Sigma and are begin ushered through hell week, though there's a lot more talk about hell than actual on-screen fire and brimstone. And Sharon Kane is along for a whole discourse on Cajun culture so if you don't mind learning a thing or two, it's pretty enjoyable.
But we all know what the purpose of the first feature was —to set the table for the monumental all-girl daisy chain at this show's conclusion. Though, a peculiar choice of camera angles and not enough overhead shooting renders parts of this orgy to look like one of those holiday cheese logs. It's just too much action for the itinerate vidcam to comprehend. Nevertheless, with solid acting performances, particularly Silvera's, a good story, and some well-mounted sex scenes, Sorority Pink rates must-have on your list. Very hot box cover.
