The quality of this series might have slipped a slight notch, and the plot is getting older than the "Barber of Seville," yet Who Shaved Aja? Proves the tonsorial concept will be as enduring as there are bushes and hedge clippers. Mike Horner takes on the P.I. Role from Rick Savage, trying to determine who loused up porn producer Jon Martin's shoot by denuding Aja. Horner's dialogue might be as bad as gumshoe movies will allow, but the best and funniest scene is when Blake Palmer, playing an X-actor, tells Aja that, while he has experience in sex scenes, he can't deliver lines. Art imitates live.

Shelly Rey, billed as a Debbie Diamond, contributes most of the A's in this review. Her two scenes (with Jon Martyin and then Nina Hartley) have none of the mechanics too often seen with other ladies. The balance of the compliments go to Brandy Alexandre who gets better with each video. She has a threeway with Nina and Horner that is the perfect marriage of good camera work and enthusiastic performances. Tonsorial addicts heed this. Once again there is a shaving scene, but this time a short one.
