Supposedly softer and more romantic, Flame takes a shot at it, but sadly, falls short. The development of the characters is quite good and one does feel sympathy for Doris (a lovely job by Aja) but little sympathy for Flame (Tracey Adams) who screws her way into a beating and out of a home, both by the jealous boyfriend (non-sexual, unmotivated) either the anger, or the regret). Then she screws the husband (Marc Wallice in a despicable characters role... glad I've seen him do nice guys 'cause this is good) of the lady who befriended her.
The feature suffers from uneven sound and harsh lighting... but I hope director Victoria Arnelle tries again. With polish she may be on to something.
