So the producer says to the director, “We’ve got a couple of extra hours to kill.  Let’s get seven people in this room and make Generic Black Video #369.  Is that camera working?”

“Yeah, but we don’t have the proper lighting,” the director replies.

“But there’s nowhere to shoot; just that one bed in front of the fireplace.”

“Great, we have two sets. Now make sure you have a lesbian scene, a three-way and show Ebony’s breasts a lot because they’re big.”

“But we don’t have a script written, and we only have five black actors, not seven.”

“That’s fine, just shoot the scenes and have them talk about ‘er, I know!  We’ll have Ebony sit on that lounge chair and talk about this house where people used to come and party.  Good.  Oh, and I’ll get a white couple to have a scene at the end of the tape so we don’t need seven black actors.”

“There’s not enough time.  Suppose one of the guys can’t perform?  I mean, there will be no passion.”

“Just shoot the damn thing. We haven’t released a black tape this month and Video Wonderworld just released their Dark Horny Babes in Heat, Volume 98.”

”But this feature isn’t going to be very good.”

“Look, I need a new black video.  Just shoot the damn thing.”
