Traci Who? starts out with a great idea and then dumps it, all within the first 30 seconds. How is this, you may ask. Easy. During the opening credits, a voice informs us that it is the year 1991, and "President Meese" wants to outlaw pornography, but first the Supreme Court must determine once and for all if prevailing National Community Standards warrant such an act. So that "Commission" is revived to collect "data" proving that sex is sinful.

So far so good, right? Wrong. After the narration, the whole idea is dropped and what are we left with is the "raw data" that was secretly videotaped by the Commission. This raw data amounts to an endless series of non-connected sex scenes from other AVC features performed with a general lack of enthusiasm. This is doubly disappointing since the cast is (generally) so good at what they do.

Even though I just turned the cassette off, I'd be hard pressed to remember who did what to whom. Even the obligatory lesbian match (with one of the best, Amber Lynn) was not enough to awaken even my Plebian taste.

Traci Who? may be the only title on the adult market to exist simply so that someone could get a dig in on that wretched turncoat Traci Lords. It certainly has nothing to do with this limp show. P.S. — there's no such thing as "National Community Standards."
