Compilation tapes can be exciting: if one segment is not good, you can look forward to the next. Not so with Girls That Talk Dirty. There are seven short vignettes here and most are forgettable. Despite a couple of bondage segments the sex is tame, and there isn't even much "dirty talk."

The array of stars featured is alluring but they've been in better scenes, and the quality of the tape is inconsistent, with some segments appearing elaborate while others look like they were shot in a trailer hitched to the back of a speeding car. The characters do get down to sex fairly fast in each sequence, but the camera work lacks an eye for the viewer's desire. In "Somebody's Watching You" with Lee Carroll, close-ups never come when desired and there's limited use of camera angles. The best short is "Hose Me Down" starring Sharon Mitchell. She appears completely at ease here, and the setting of a fire station is refreshingly different from the hotel room sets featured often in the other segments. In one scene, "What a Way to Make a Living," the couple doesn't even make it to the hotel room. They just use the hallway!

There will always be room in the adult video market for good compilations. A better title for this string of poor scenes would have been "Girls That Disappoint!".
