Flasher is a hard video to define – but then again, anything by Lasse Braun is hard to define. It's sort of state-of-consciousness porn. The movie flows out of a basic, scanty premise, do forget the plot. But it's an erotic, well-acted, nicely photographed feature that the viewer may find himself wanting to dislike but unable to, due to its rough-and-rowdy qualities.
The video opens to find two models (Sharon Kane and Brittany Stryker) having a hot to-do. Both have wild bodies and know how to put them to good use. We next meet them in the park being photographed by Harry Reems when, out of nowhere, a flasher (Billy Deee) appears. And thus the loose thread which holds the plot together begins.
The main drawback is the title character. In his flasher role, Billy Dee turns in a fine performance, both sexually and acting-wise. But the character is totally lacking of sympathy. He's hateful, forcing women to satisfy him. Of course, the women really do want it, but the flasher is too hardened (is he ever) for his own good.
Things proceed at a rapid pace. The sex scenes, for the most part, are highly sensual, with a dash of kink thrown in for good measure. The finale, with Stryker taking on four guys, is not to be missed. When they're finished, she doesn't know which end is up, and you might not either!
Flasher is no flash-in-the-pan porn. It's a creative work which might offend some, but is worth seeing for its eroticism. You might need your raincoats, for this Flasher offers some wet moments!
