Reviews

This video feature starts out with a real "Sis-Boom," but it winds up a "Bah" as the slim storyline drags and takes the sex with it. The gimmick of sex-starved cheerleaders has been done before (in the classic The Cheerleaders), and while the idea of blonde "rah-rahs" may still appeal to the male fantasy (it does to mine), the sex and plot here are no better than average.

Credit should go to the casting director, though. Candie Evans, Bunny Bleu and newcomer Blondie Bee (whatta cutie!) are real spirit raisers. But in the context of this militaristic cheerleading academy run by Beverly York (Erica Boyer), their splits seem inhibited. York rules the camp with an iron hand and open legs, and if any of the four couples are to make it as Tyler Academy cheerleaders they'll have to hump their way through York to do it.

Tom Byron plays the camp nerd well (complete with white-taped glasses) and Evans is convincing (and cute) as a shy, insecure lass who is taken for ride by the cassanova Peter North. Actually the scene with Evans and North is the hottest in the feature, as North pours honey all over Evans and then explores all the ways to lick his opponent (a true cheerleader!). And the camera work here is excellent. The viewer gets a steady sweeping view of all the sweet dripping action between these two tanned bodies (but how come there are no tan lines?)

But director Ron Jeremy uses the same shtick again during the North/Bunny Bleu sexcapade, and although it is only the second time, it seems old. There is also a cheap T&A sequence where York puts the squads through calisthenics and we get to see who wore underwear to practice. This might have helped Jane Fonda sell more tapes, but it does little to enhance this feature. Also, the attempt at comedy works well in the beginning, but the dialogue turns into inane chatter that is neither funny nor arousing. The funniest part is watching these X-rated film stars cheer. Bee seems like a natural, but the rest of them would have felt Erica Boyer's boot in their butts a long time ago.
