Weighted down with an amazingly dumb script and loads of mediocre sex, it's something of a chore to sacrifice your time to Sacrificed to Love. Randy West plays a completely charmless hunk, who makes a living photographing people screwing around when he's not screwing around himself. Sharon Mitchell is the woman who demands his true love, but can't get it. Try this macho dialog on for size, as Mr. Photographer runs his manly philosophy up the flagpole: "I lust after other women. I f*** other women. I always will. No matter how much I love you, because I'm a man." Yeah, that's the ticket.
There's a variety of group groping, some erotic dancing, a Sharon Mitchell solo, much tease-posing before the photographer's camera, and it all has a certain blandness that you've seen too many times before. Without a woman of superstar proportions to hold it together, the tape just drags along, not stimulating much erotic or dramatic interest. The only unusual moment has Sharon sodomizing West with a wicked dildo, apparently as a demonstration of her devotion. It's a very short, very weird scene in an otherwise overlong and standard video production.
